Maison Emmanuelle Khanh, under the artistic direction of Eva Gaumé, has created an exclusive solar capsule for MaisonCléo from upcycled acetates.
The Cléo sunglasses model reveals a generous rectangular shape with softened angles, inspired by the 90s, each branch of is adorned with a graphic Swarovski crystal rhinestone.
Available in five exclusive colors – black, dark tortoiseshell, light tortoiseshell, blue glitter, and flamed red – the materials selected come from deadstock and vintage acetates, sourced locally, a few kilometers from the manufacturing plant.
The frames are shaped by hand, respecting traditional know-how, in partnership with an eyewear workshop based in Oyonnax, which has specialized in the artisanal manufacture of acetate frames for several generations. Each frame is delivered in a case made from fabrics recovered from Couture Houses in a workshop in the North of France which employs former seamstresses and employees in integration. To ensure the best and longest possible life for your glasses, store them in their cases, clean them with a soft, dry cloth, and wear them often.
